BROKEN CHOCOLATE

This awfully English twist on the customarily saccharine after-dinner cocktail is a somewhat more delicate affair.

The Broken Chocolate is a silky combination of Earl Grey Tea infused Broken Clock Vodka and wisp of luxuriant dark chocolate liqueur, topped with a dainty chocolate matchstick.

Created by Bar Manager, Massimo Valenti, this tasty tipple was crafted for the cocktail menu at Heston Blumenthal's Michelin starred Hinds Head in Bray.

INGREDIENTS

  • 30 ml Broken Clock Vodka
  • 20 ml Broken Clock infused with Earl Grey Tea*
  • 15 ml Mozart Dark Chocolate Liqueur
  • 10 ml Sugar Syrup
Garnish
  • Chocolate Matchstick

METHOD

For the Cocktail

Stir the ingredients in a mixing glass with plenty of ice and strain into a chilled martini glass. Pop in the chocolate matchstick and imbibe. 

 

*Broken Clock infused with Earl Grey Tea: Infuse 100 ml of Broken Clock with an Earl Grey teabag overnight then remove the bag and keep the infusion refrigerated for up to a month.
